I have two cells one with a mulitplier and one blank

What I am trying to do is:

If the Multiplier is below 3.00 then it will Turn Red
If the Multiplier is above 3.00 but lower than 3.5 it will turn yellow
If the Multiplier is above 3.5 it will turn green

How can I do this with conditional formatting?

=IF([@Multiplier]<3, "LOW"), IF(AND([@Multiplier]>3,[@Multiplier]<3.5,"MID"), IF([@Multiplier]>4.0, "HIGH"))))

My Excel is too old to upload Conditional Formatting, but this is what it would look like if your Multiplier is in Column A. It looks like you have your data formatted as a table, but your formula isn't using it quite right for the Multiplier Level.

Your formula will work like this (but your "high" is segregated at 4, instead of 3.5 like your original post, so you may want to change that to 3.5).

Book1

1MultiplierMultiplier Level
23.44MID
33.18MID
42.65LOW
52.77LOW
63.19MID
73.09MID
82.63LOW
93.01MID
103.47MID
113.46MID
124.09HIGH
132.94LOW
143.43MID
153.15MID
