Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Conditional Formatting only runs off of values of cells, not off of formatting.
How is cell C10 being formatted red? If that is by Conditional Formatting, we can use the same rule being used for cell C10 for the other cells.
Just lock the column reference in your formula, i.e. $C

Each of the cells you want formatted use the same Conditional Formatting formula:
VBA Code:
=$C10="x"
So select each of these cells first, then go to Conditional Formatting and enter that CF formula and choose your red formatting option.
