Hello, I need assistance with conditional formatting, in cell AZ880 the user will enter a value, I need this cell to turn green if the value entered is equal to the lowest value in either cells AX or AY 880. If the value in AZ880 does not match the lowest value in either cells AX or AY880 I need the cell to turn red. Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
how about
=AZ880<>MIN(AX880:AY880) for red
=AZ880=MIN(AX880:AY880) for green

Use the formula option

Rule 1
=AZ880=MIN(AX880:AY880)
Green

Rule 2
=AZ880<>MIN(AX880:AY880)
Red

Hello again, one more thought, is it possible to edit the formula to have cell AZ880 remain green if there is no entry?

Why not just manually set the cell to green & only use the red formula in CF?

Because if AX & AY both contained non-zero numbers and AZ was blank, the red rule would be True.

I would go with manually formatting AZ880 green and using this as the red CF formula

=AND(AZ880<>"",AZ880<>MIN(AX880:AY880))
