I am trying to show the progress of a Project using conditional formatting. I am using Excel 2010.
I have almost 50 rows and 1150 columns.
I want to highlight red color in the cell if the date in cell two rows above it is today's date.
Highlight blue if the date in cell two rows above is greater than or equal to start date (written in the same row and fixed column) but less than or equal to Start date + number of days completed. This is so as to demonstrate completed part of the task.
Highlight grey if the date in cell two rows above is greater than Start date +number of days completed but less than or equal to End date.
Start Date, End date and Days completed are all entered in each row for each task.
Since the formatting of a large number of cells is required, is there any means that I need not to type the formulas in each cell separately.
