conditional formatting formula

Hello,

I am hoping somebody could assist me with a conditional formatting formula. What I am trying to do is if the value in cell M136 is greater than $3.00 or less than -$3.00, then my formatting takes place. I'm jut not sure how to go about writing this formula

Try =OR($M$136<-3,$M$136>3)
