Conditional formatting formula date range

I am trying to highlight cells using IFS to identify a date range and color code it. This is what I have:
=IFS(N:N>TODAY()+179,N:N<TODAY()+366) and highlight background yellow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select the cells you want to apply, and insert this formula into conditional formatting. Note that conditional formatting can be taxing on the workbook. Limit to the cells you need.

=AND(N1>TODAY()+179,N1<TODAY()+366)
