How do I use conditional formatting in excel to only accept the entries of ONLY the NUMBERS (1, 4, 5, 7, 8) and nothing else?

Where it highlights any CELL that is not one of these entries? (Except the blank!) So a COLUMN might have:

A1• 142425aasj
A2• 424252 asd
A3• asdasd 65566
A4• 1
A5• 4
A6• 5
A7• 7
A8• 8
A9•
A10• 21123123
A11• KJD33

Where it will highlight (A1, A2, A3, A10, A11), where it will not highlight (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9).

I'm working with 'Data Validation' but I need a formula

in using ->

Conditional Formatting

Thank you.

You don't. Just keep typing and the data will be entered. for the size list that you gave, the box should be big enough.

Is there a macro to match the text size of the cell with the List box size?

What list box?
What box are you finding to be small, the one in the DataValidation dialog, when you set up the DV or the drop down when the user clicks the arrow in a cell?

Hi, I'm talking about 'when the user clicks the arrow in a cell' to be to small when compared to actual cell font size, which is set at 24, so the drop down appears very tiny.

Is there a macro to fix that stark difference??

To quote from the Contextures article that I provided in your other thread
You can use Data Validation... However, the list font can't be changed, ...
To overcome these limitations, you can add a combo box to your worksheet,.... The combo box's font size can be set, ...
This seems to be very much what you want and the standard Data Validation interface is not open to customisation. The instructions on the Contextures site are quite comprehensive so I strongly suggest that you try to work through that article to see if you can get something close to what you want.
