Conditional formatting for project planning

Hi

I want a really basic sheet that i can fill in a project with its start and finish dates and see cells colour based on the dates enter

See attached, i want the yellow to happen automatically

Eventually i will have each team fill in a tab and then a master tab that consolidates it all

Looking at playing with it for the future and changing Q1, Q2 etc. to Jan, Feb, MAr etc

I think this is the start of what i need

=INT((COLUMN()-4)/12+1)

But hit a wall

I lied, code corrected as per below

=AND($C4<=DATE($E$1+INT((COLUMN()+7)/12)-1,MOD((COLUMN()-5),12)+1,0),$D4>=DATE($E$1+INT((COLUMN()+7)/12)-1,MOD((COLUMN()-5),12)+1,1))
