Hi,

I've looked around for an answer to this without success.

I have a spreadsheet where I need the "18" change and be highlighted as green if the sum of the next 4 columns with a check is greater than 18. Stay in yellow if equal to the sum, and red if under.

Tried to use =SUM(Col1:Col4), and =SUM(S642,T642,U642,V642) but it is not working..

Thanks in advance.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
How about for Green
Excel Formula:
=Q642>SUM(S642:V642)

Is this for Sheets or Excel?

In that case you should make that clear initially & such questions should be posted in the General Discussion & Other Applications section of the board.
I have done that for you this time.

As I know nothing about conditional formatting in Sheets, I cannot help.
