Yes but it would probably be long the lines of Norie's code so I'm not going to re-invent the wheel unnecessarily.

Did you actually put Norie's code in a procedure or did you merely paste it into a module and try to run it?

If you're receptive to alternative solutions, The last time I had to manage more than a dozen or so pieces of data I did it in a separate worksheet, mostly locked but with a few unlocked cells for data entry so it looked like a userform - a bit like this:-
