Hello JohnnyL
The application Match Portal is running perfect in every way. Today I visited a new office and tested to run Match Portal application. But I ran into this error for the first time. What could be the reason and how do I rectify it to make it compatible to run in all versions of excel.?
Compile error in hidden module Match Portal
This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform or architecture of this application.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Try it and see if it still works for you.
It is working.
If I download excel 2007 online will it effect my other excel sheets. or will it replace my available version.? I have no idea about this.

I'm not sure if you can install older versions. I know when I looked up how to install multiple versions of excel, the info said that they have to be same bit version. I started with the oldest version & installed the various versions from oldest to newest.

No. I have 2007, 2013, & 2016 installed on this computer. I installed them in that order. they are all 32bit versions
Ok. I will have to check it out in the office only. No other option.

If you install an older version, more than likely it will overwrite some files that your newer version uses, thus most likely making your newer version to act funky if not breaking it,

The file now runs without issue on my 2007 & 2013 version so you should be good.
