How do I combine these two formulas?

=VLOOKUP(A4,Units,2,FALSE)

=MID(A4,MIN(FIND({0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9},A4&"0123456789")),1)

Is it the Units named range?
What about A4 that is used in MID(A4,....)

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Units named range is just a bunch of suite numbers. The VLOOKUP finds the suite number from that named range and the MID formula extracts the number.

Are you saying that the MID function is used to extract some text from the result provided by VLOOKUP?
Something like
=MID(VLOOKUP(....),...)
Is it?

The MID extracts a number from the text. SO Twr2S#1 becomes 2 when using the MID formula.

The VLOOKUP returns the Twe2S#1 so I want to combine the formulas so I just get the number instead of Twr2S#1.
