As you can tell I'm new to Access. I have a table and will have several tables that I'm moving from Excel. Is it better to combine my Excel files and move one file at one time or can I just combine several tables into one later on.

Thanks for all help.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Are the tables in seperate workbooks?

Is it the same data but for different months/products or something like that?

The setup is the same for each tab. Its different classes on each tab (sample class 38, 39, 41, 42) on each sheet it list the different item #'s, discription, unit cost, etc....

Is the data in each tab structured in the same way but is specific to a particular category/date or something?

Do you already have a table created with all the appropriate fields?

If you do why not add a field for class.

Then import each tab into the database.

Then use an append query to add the records to the existing table and set the class field.
