Column number as variable

If I use With Sheets(1).Column(5) it works

But when I set CNum = 5
And use With Sheets(1).Columns(CNum) it fails

What am I doing wrong?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

How is CNum declared?

That's the problem. It should be as Long.
