Code to Find a Matching string in a column

PLEASE ASSIST: I have a worksheet, with a string value on cell A2. I need to search through for that value in columns D5:D1000. if it exit, then display the row number. I will really appreciate ur contribution. thanks

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
