Using the "SOLVED" prefix is probably a good idea as long as I don't use the search to look for topics "Solve function", etc. A possibility would be something like S.O.L.V.E.D.

Plus, someone could start their own thread that starts with Solved .. it can get messy if the OP is not responsible for their subject headings. And Smitty has a point; some people see the Solved preceeding the thread title and don't even look at it. There are pro's and con's to everything. I think the main thing is finding a way to work with what you have. This board is not set up bad in any way. It has a LOT of nice features. I am very happy with it (IMHO) and think the Admin team have done a great job with it.

(Skye's doing good, only 1 more trip back left!)

Please don't get me wrong, this forum is amazing!

It's not even the sheer number of topics or the extremly quick answers but it's the only board I have seen so far where THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS.

That MVPs take time to answer "newbie questions" really amazes me. I haven't been here long but it was love at first sight.
