choose random value from non-contiguous range

i have a non-contiguous range and i wanted to select a random value from this range, best way? so range is everything except red values

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Not sure what formula/code you're using to select a random cell, but you can name the range by selecting those cells and clicking Formulas > Define Name (in Defined Names section). Give it a name, e.g. myRandomRange and click OK.

You can then refer to that range in formulas or code.

=MIN(myRandomRange)
=AVERAGE(myRandomRange)

etc...
