Hi,
Not sure if this is something anyone could help me with...
I have written a fairly large a complex workbook which runs a number of macros when it is opened, in order to set worksheet protection, scroll regions etc.
I make extensive use of "Application.ScreenUpdating=False" to hide this from the user. When I last used this (probably November), everything was looking fine. Now when I open it, the screen goes mad, overlaying bits of various sheets. When it has all finished, the screen image is corrupt, as if it hasn't managed to resolve properly.
When I move to a different tab, everything loks fine again.
As soon as I do anything which invokes a macro, it happens again.
Functionally everything seems to be working OK, but it now looks rubbish, whereas before everything happened behind the scenes and the user was unaware of what was going on.
Has there been a change to the way in which VBA works, maybe a windows update that may have caused this.
I have no idea where to start. If I debug the macro step by step all seems OK, it's as if "Application.ScreenUpdating = False" just isn't working and the display cannot keep up with the macro.
Thanks
Steve
