Is it possible to change the dataconnection from the Pivot in excel to an other Powerpivot Datamodell ?

The storry:
We want to change the connection from the Pivot in Excel to a Powerpivot Model witch is on a Server.
Advantage: The Excel Pivot is very smal and every User can use normal Excel without powerpivot ( only use Pivot)
The Powerpivot modell can refreshed on the Server automatic.

Is there a Properties in the Excel File -> Change the .xls into ZIP and you can read Excel internal

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Yes, easy to do (takes 5 mins if everything is installed, 1 hour if not). You're also doing it for the correct reasons.

To import the current Power Pivot model into an instance of SSAS Tabular installed on a server and connect to it:
Step 1) Install SQL Server on the server
Step 2) Install a Tabular instance on the SQL server
Step 3) Download SSDT-BI on your computer, not necessarily the server. ( SSDT-BI Visual Studio 2013 Shell is the latest although VS 2015 may be out by now?)
Step 4) Load up SSDT-BI Visual Studio 20xx Shell
Step 5) Import from Power Pivot Model -> import
Step 6) Add user read-only roles for who you want to access the server
Step 7) Deploy to server
Step 8) Load up Excel and connect using Excel Services
Step 9) Load to Pivot Table and enjoy

There's a few details I've skipped but this is basically it :)

Edit: After step 4, set the theme to Black. It looks badass.

hm, i know this steps.
My Question is: Is it possible to change the dataconnection from the Pivot in excel to an other Powerpivot Datamodell ?

I have a user how build a big solution in Poverpivot and in excel Pivot + Charts (one Excel File)
now i want to bring the Modell in Powerpivot on the server ( thats easy) -> the old excelfile dont need the old Powerpivot Modell - it needs only the Charts ( an small easy Excel without the Modell)

So it will be easy, when i have the possibility to change the connection in excel to the Powerpivot Modell on SQL Server ( Tabular)
