Cash register spreadsheet

First of all apologize if this is not the right place to ask for this sort of help.
Can anyone help creating this simple spreadsheet.
I have created one myself but I can make it work just the way I want it.
In the end I had to simplify it to the point where I enter almost all data except for calculation and even that stops if the item number is higher than 2.


=IF(B35=1,B35*27.5,IF(B35=2,B35*27.5))
This is as far as I went and I cant make graphics work either, as for now I simply change color on Item QTY manualy to know what was sold.

Well sure this could be done with some work.
But we cannot build your spreadsheet for you.

Well if you were to ask a mechanic how to change brake pads on your car, it will be very simple task for him but hard job for you.

I thought writing a few simple excel formulas for guys like you wouldn't be hard but it really is for me as I have never created excel spreadsheets myself but know how to enter data. ))

my post sets up a starter cash register - get that working for you then ask us for more tweaks - you have a table of goods stocked with cost and sale price and a means of automatically getting those values to your "register".....

1. First of all I would like to fix up this formula. =IF(B35=1,B35*27.5,IF(B35=2,B35*27.5))
If I sell more than 2 similar items at a time, I can't make this formula work. I dont know how to make it calculate bigger numbers. I tried adding IF3 and so on but it stops working.
2. I would like to choose Item by pressing DOWN ARROW or SPACE BAR. is it possible or do I need to use mouse?
3. By choosing the item, price should change, eg. Item (pencil) = 1.25AUD*QTY (4)- Item (pencil) cost 0.35*QTY (4) = profit.

If you just give me tips, I will make it work. ))

if b35 is either 1 or 2 the outcome is the same - typo ?

No if B35 is 1 than C35 will be 1*27.5=27.5
IF B35 is 2 than C35 will be 2*27.5=55
