Cascading Combo Box

Help - I'm getting a bit goofy with this.

My form: has 4 cascading combo boxes - they work perfectly.

1st combo box updates my main table just fine - my #2 box (which is dependent upon 1st combo box choice) does not feed to my main table. After reading several threads, I think I want something in the AFTER UPDATE of box #2, but I'm not sure what it is.

FORM NAME: WORK ORDER FORM
TABLE NAME: WORK ORDER MAIN TABLE
COMBO BOX 1 NAME: EQUIP NUMBER
COMBO BOX 2 NAME: EQUIP NAME (fills in correctly as soon as BOX 1 is done)

Does anyone have a suggestion of how I can get my BOX 2 to populate my WORK ORDER MAIN TABLE?

I'm sorry, but I must be missing something - I tried this morning a work & I just cannot get it.

When I change Box #2 to text, it does not populate at all. I hope this is a better explanation:

2 Tables are involved: Table called EQUIPMENT includes Equipment Number, Equipment Name, Oil Type & Qty all in separate fields. Table called WORK ORDER MAIN TABLE populates from the information typed into the form called WORK ORDER FORM.

Combo Box #1 (called Combo76) is primary - we choose the Equipment Number and the 3 cascading boxes populate with the corresponding Equip Name, Oil type & Qty.

All information populates WORK ORDER MAIN TABLE - but I cannot get Combo Box #2 (EQUIPMENT NAME) to populate the MAIN TABLE. If there was a way for me to email it to you for better visual, I can do that.

In the text box that you want to connect to the table, go into Design view and the Properties. In the Data tac, check the Control Source. If it's blank, pick the name of the field from the drop-down list.
