I have a specific cell which is J9

I have a spreadsheet of user information.

Now I cant remember the name of the code to use but when a name is entered into cell J9 this code would then look at the spreadsheet in column D for the same name & select its cell.

Just a question for you then.
As Tommy isn’t in the list what happens when you hit enter ?

The selected cell moves to E4 as it would normally when I press enter, the message box appears and the combobox dropdown on A2/A3 changes to Tommy.

When I click on the link I see 1/6 ?
When I click on download I receive an excel file MARK858 so I’m thinking where it showed 1/6 at the start it’s downloaded only 1 part and that’s why the issues.

But why 6 ?
I was expecting to see and then just download the 1 file.
Can you private message me etc and I will give you my email so you can attach it there please.

I don't send anyone on forums my email address which is what you would get if I sent you an email so no.

The 1/6 you see is probably what box can show on their preview screen (a bit strange as mine shows 1/9, 2/9 etc.), it has nothing to do with the number of pages, files or sheets.

Can you do this please.
Less than 30 second video advising to edit the last character in the link then supply me that link.
It then downloads automatically. Just seeing it that makes any difference.

What has a dropbox.com video got to do with a box.com download? and as I have stated the link and the file work fine for me.

My fault.
Quickly looking at the link I had seen box and assumed it was Dropbox.

Can you upload to Dropbox and see if that makes a difference to me.

Maybe as I don’t have a box account.
I assume it would naturally work for you as you posted it but some reason my end it won’t open.

I'll see about setting up a dropbox account sometime during the day Sunday meanwhile....

If anyone else reads this who does download files, can you download the file from the link in post 27 and let me know if you have any issues with the file please.

Hi,
Ive tried again this morning and same issue.
Files takes ages to open,cursor spinning around.top of screen next to file name i see (break) then after say 2 minutes is see repair.
Hopefully the drop box option will work.

I have also just downloaded with firefox.
When i opened the file i was told it was already opened ?
I selected no then i noticed the file is in design mode already.

All very strange
