Hi all

I have a process that is due to start at say 3.00pm and I need to be able to show the elapsed time that the process has been running.

I've used the formula =NOW()-"15:00:00" which gives me the answer but it only updates when you hit return or enter text.

Is there a way to display a running clock/stopwatch?

Better way to do clock is:
Sub cloc()
While True
DoEvents
Sheet1.Range("A1") = Now()
Wend
End Sub

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
=now() gives you,say, 15:21:39.59 (hh:mm:ss.00 ) so put this in a macro and paste special values to cells(1,1)

repeat with second macro using cells(1,2)

macro 1 is your start macro 2 your stop so attach them to 2 buttons labelled start and stop

Hi everybody. I just joined your forum and I am excited now that I can add this running clock in Excel. For some reason of a system I am using allocating info to a call centre, I need to add 15 minutes to my clock for data entering before the password expires. What I need to do is to add 15 minutes to this running clock discussed above. Can you please help to add that to you macro above? Much appreciated!

Please help. This works perfect except I need to change this line:
ws.Range("C4").Value = Format(Time, "hh:mm:ss AM/PM")
to 24 hour format. "HH:mm:ss ????" what do I insert after the hour format?
