I've created a custom ribbon tab with some text formatting controls. I've specified the same idMso for the font combobox as is shown on the Home tab:
XML:
<box id="box6" boxStyle="horizontal">
  <comboBox idMso="Font" showLabel="false"/>
  <comboBox idMso="FontSize" showLabel="false"/>
</box>
I notice my combobox is narrower (horizontally) than the control on the home tab.

Standard Google search with multiple attempts to phrase search terms unsuccessful.

Can anyone help?

TIA John

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Solved using the attribute 'sizeString' which sizes to accommodate full view of the specified string

XML:
<comboBox idMso="Font" showLabel="false" sizeString="WWWWWWWWWWWWW"/>
