This formula:
=MID([@URL],SEARCH("/",[@URL],8),SEARCH("-t*.html",[@URL])-SEARCH("/",[@URL],8))
does exactly what i want but i just copied it off the internet. The results of the formula are below:

But why the @URL elements in the formula? Bit confused
