Hi All, new in town, hoping someone can help me on this problem.

I can create an INVOICE TEMPLATE, but how would one go about creating a TEMPLATE which tracks all the INVOICES sent, and which calculates how much in total has been invoiced for any particular week/month/year?

Regards

Can you send me a copy, too? I updated my preferences so you can probably see a button to email me now. Thanks!

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

N PARKER JNR your suggestion also sounds good would it be possible for you to send an example in EXCEL format to the above e-mail addr.

What about if I visit you personally?
Then I could also cook your dinner and do your laundry.

why not just use the template wizard with data tracking add-in in excel, and everytime you save your invoice template you can have the selected data from that invoice go another spreadsheet that will track the information from each invoice - you could then take the spreadsheet where the data from each invoice is compiled, and add some formulas to calculate totals or any other statistics you wanted to calculate on your data - just an idea, maybe this is what you are trying to do anyway.

good luck,
kevin

Given the response to my original posting I think my response was perfectly reasonable.

I am quite willing to provide help, but not to people who are not prepared to make even a minimal effort themselves.

Anyway, why take my comment so seriously?
I think you do too much petty moralising on this board.
And too much instructing on what you think posters should and shouldn't say.
