Calculated Field in Pivot Table - Error

Hi, I inserted the following into a Pivot table.
=IF(YEAR = 2021, JANUARY+FEBRUARY+MARCH+APRIL+MAY, ""). For some of the cells in this column, I get summed values that are correct. On others, I do not but instead see the following error #VALUE!. I don't see an apparent rhyme or reason why it works in some cases but not in others. When I select the data making up the one's that error, the values add and the corresponding "year" is 2021.

Any ideas?
