Calculated Column Taking Forever

Quick question, I'm a bit new to powerpivot. I've built a data model and have a sheet that has about 14MM rows. When doing a calculated column where I am simply dividing one column by another, the calculation time goes on for a long while, until finally, after 30 minutes or so I just kill excel and try again. After a few tries, I am thinking something is wrong. Should it take this long? I should note that when creating calculated columns to concatenate it only takes a minute. What am I doing wrong here? Should I not be using a calculated column for something like this?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

So, no worries, guys. Figured it out. Simple divide by zero error, and iferror fixed it right up. Seems odd that it would just go on calculating forever and not just tell you there's an error, but whatever... good talk guys, good talk...
