I have a simple excel database which I use filters to maintain data about files.
I want to have a way of choosing a file or a directory and adding a new row(s) with the file name, directory name, full path , creator, hyperlink and date. I will then add all the other details
So I can do this manually , but is this VBA territorry?
I also want a way of searching the contents of all the files I have added.
And lastly do I need a different database for website links ?
