Before Save Event

It is in ThisWorkbook as it should be, however it doesn't work, what have I done wrong....again....?

Is the Before_Save event code in the workbook module of the workbook that you are trying to save or in another open workbook ?

it is in the same workbook as is being saved.

Well in that case the only thing I can think of is that you may have some other code that is somehow interfering either in the workbook, in another open workbook or in an addin.

After a few days break I am back on this & whilst I still have no idea why it wasn't working originally, simply copying everything into a fresh blank workbook seems to solve the problem.
