Hi everyone,
I'm here again for a new thread that would also be helpful to others, I guess so.
I just want to know how I can instruct excel to open automatically in a given date and time. Not only that but, it will run a vba program then close (note that it should be done unnoticeable by any user-it means a program run through a workbook like nothing happens).

I know someone is really brilliant to know it is so simple.

Thanks in advance.

I set the timevalue to 10AM and now it is 10:05AM but it did nothing, where supposed to be my mistake?

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
If you want Sub to be launched at 10AM, then you must run Launcher before 10AM!

velkugan,
Possible but I don't want to let all the users of my program to do a schedule. If I can make it in excel itself it will be great.

Just to make my question clear...
I have a program (Workbook) that I want to open during first day of the month..
After opening, it will perform the code (whtever it is) then approximately 5-10 minutes right after finishing the code it will close. Open again on the first day of next month and so on...

Hope I made my statement clear. For all who have idea about this appreciate your time...thanks God bless
