Working on a project with our golf league to expedite golf scorecard entry into an Excel spreadsheet. Our golf league plays weekly, we can have from 120-150 golfers each week. Scorecards are manually entered into Excel weekly to track handicaps and calculate prizes. We are exploring ways to automatically scan/enter the scorecards into our Excel database to reduce errors as well as provide weekly results on a more timely basis. While we have found several golf league tracking spreadsheets online we have not run across a process to help facilitate scorecard entry into Excel. Any thoughts or proposals are welcome.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
There are apps that you can put on phones that allow the individual golfers to input their hole by hole scores. They can be exported to tournament director at the end of the round. Just search your phone app stores.

Then you can store all the players scores in a specific folder and use power query to aggregate and process the scoring data.
