I am looking for a way to have a macro run every time a file is saved? More specifically, I am developing a file that can be used on our receiving dock, and everytime an item is received and they put an 'x' into the 'Received' column, I want my macro that copies that row onto another sheet.

Thanks!

I would like to ask if there's a way to upload my file here for your review.

if you upload your file to dropbox or similar file sharing site many on google search "free file hosting"

and then paste the link as comment here (note to make the file public when posting tro file site)

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
ok that explains why it is not working

as mentioned before your code neds to go in this workbook module

if you push ALT + F11 keys this will open VBE (visual basic editor)

look top left at modules list you will see you have module1 and above this you have sheet1 and this workbook

you need to double click module1 copy the code and then double click this workbook module under sheet1 and paste the code there
