Hello,

I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to make this work and I would certainly appreciate the help. In Excel 2003, I want Excel to automatically place the words "posting date" into a cell everytime the string "xx" is placed in a different cell.

As an example: If cell A13 contains "xx" (no quotations) anywhere in it, I want cell B1 to automatically populate the words "posting date" (no quotations). Is there anyway to do this without doing VBA?

Any help would be perfect!

Since I have you here, Is there anyway to have 3 different formulas in one cell then? My table slides depending on where the "xx" is placed. What we just did was a header for that, (I have 3 headers). The problem is if the xx slides one to the right, then my whole table shifts to the right and I need for that header to now be "Status" instead of "Posting Date"...

Can I do that?
