Who wants to volunteer to translate all the non-english sites for us so we know to what we're linking?

I happen to know it took several weeks to compile this list and get it up on the board.

I suppose when someone gets another few weeks to go through them, more will be added.

After reading Your reply I decided to change my opinion dramatically about Mr Excel....

Hey Gang -

This is getting pretty ridiculous. Can we tone it down a bit?

Look, here is the story. I had a bunch of articles here. One day, Scott from Philadelphia and I were talking and he was cruising someone else's article list. I had the exact same article on my site and Scott mentioned that he had never seen it at my site. So, that told me that my chronological listing of articles was a pretty stupid way of listing the articles.

I've liked Chips alphabetic index - I thought it was a smart way to list the articles.

Scott and I pretty much both came up with the idea to create a super-index of articles from several sites.

Why did I pick JWalk and Chip? Because I know those guys. I've talked to both Chip and John. Plus, those are the sites that I use. Why did I pick Ivan? Because he is a part-time member of the MrExcel Consulting Network and I want to see his site take off. This group seemed like a good place to start. Is it U.S.-centric? Well, I guess so, but just mainly because I have had the occassion to get to know JWalk and Chip and Ivan.

Your point is well taken that I missed 6 international sites. I also missed 17 other sites from the U.S., so I've done a pretty fair job of pissing off people from every country. I try to **** everyone off equally, there is no bias here.

Now that you've pointed them out, the next time we have a lull in the action, Scott will take a look at adding them to the index. It did take a couple of weeks of off-and-on to index two sites, so it will probably take a year for us to get all 23 other sites indexed. I need Scott to work on other stuff right now.

Just for the record, my year-to-date spending on this site has been U.S. $20,335. That comes out of my pocket. We gotta do a lot of consulting to cover that cost. I think this board is an amazing resource and this community is fantastic. I appreciate your suggestions as a way to improve MrExcel, but I've got to maintain a balance between our volunteer work on the site and getting paid jobs done.
