Applying Filter to One Visual only on a Page

Hi...I have a filter on a Filter page that is applied across several pages. I have one visual on a page that is created from a table that does not have field related to the filter. For example, this table only has data for the school division, but the filter is to filter the other visuals by school name. What I am getting is the same results for the visual for the School as the visual for the School Division. Otherwise the filter works on the all the other pages that the tables and visuals that have School field. How can I separate the filter to only apply the filter to the visual for School.
