Hello,

I hope anybody se thsi and know the answer!

I would like to open the SaveAs dialg from vba and have the save options as I chose SaveAs from the meny ...

fileSaveName = Application.GetSaveAsFilename()
This does not open the SaveAS dialog with all options ...

please help!

I can't get the tools menu upp in the SaveAs box :(

Which version of Excel are you using?

Do you mean you want to get to the Password option as 2007 shows the Tools Option at the bottom but only allows you to look at Mapping the drive.

the tools options do not show the password option etc

Did you really try my solution before posting? It shows the regular options for Tools since... in essence... it is the very same Save As dialog window that is shown.
