Append Query

Hi I want to design a append query which I would like to attached to a macro, what I want my query to be able to do, is to is copy the page which is shown on the form. What would I have to do to enable this query to do. I first added a search query which would used on my form. On the form I will have my macro in which the button would be clicked to copy the file to another table.

What are the processes please in doing this.

Is the form linked to the other table? Or is it an unbound form (no record source for the form)?
As a (very general) rule, you should use bound forms for data entry and unbound forms for searching.
If the form is already bound (but to another table / query), are you transferring the data to a separate table as an archive?

If you can give some detail on these questions, someone on the board will be able to help you.
