I have searched high and low but no answer, maybe there is none. Is there any way to keep angled text from looking blurry? Thanks

First, I understand that is NOT italicized text. You are speaking of the option to angle text a certain number of degrees. The issue is probably your monitor. I don't know that much about monitor calibration and adjustment, but that is what the issue sounds like.

I'm not sure it's my monitor. I found several hundred posts of people trying to fix this issue. The text looks normal until you angle it them it gets blurry, I think it's an Excel thing of how it handles the text. I found several posts that say Excel can't display the text at an angle. Thanks I will keep looking. If anyone has any ideas I will try anything. Thanks

ok. sorry, I checked on my digital monitor. works fine. I am using an HDMI cable on my monitor. Not sure if it would be different using an older 32-pin (??? is that right, I don't even remember anymore).

You can play with your available fonts (try some sans-serif fonts like arial, tahoma, or verdana, and a serif font like Times or garamond). If that doesn't work then give up. I don't think there's any secret formula - either it looks good to you or it doesn't. Usually angled text doesn't look good - I use 90 degree angles if I need it, otherwise not at all.
