Is there a way to get a report with all the tables and column headings listed.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
You could try Tools>Analyze>Documenter.

Put this code in a new module and run it from there (press F5). It will create a comma-delimited text file in your C: drive with table name, field name, field type and field size.

Code:
Function DocTables()
  Dim tbl As TableDef
  Dim fld As Field
  Dim TableFile

  TableFile = "C:\TableDetails.txt"
  'Delete previous copies
  On Error Resume Next
  Kill (TableFile)
  On Error GoTo 0

  'write out the current dataset
  Open TableFile For Output As #1

  For Each tbl In CurrentDb.TableDefs
    For Each fld In tbl.Fields
      Print #1, tbl.Name & "," & fld.Name & "," & fld.Type & "," & fld.Size
    Next fld
  Next tbl
End Function
