Age and Date Formula Question

Hey all! I'm no EXCEL expert but can usually figure out less complicated formulas, however this one has me stumped.

I'm working on a project which requires me to calculate a minor child (patient's) date of majority (when he or she turns 18), then add 3 years to that to arrive at a date at which we can safely destroy the medical records. I have the date of birth of each child which of course varies. These records go back as far as 2005, and some of these kids are probably ALREADY 18! However, they all have to be entered on the database, and calculations performed on every name listed.

To sum things up.
Based on date of birth, I have to calculate when the child turns 18.
Then I have to add three years
Then have Excel produce a destroy date in another column.

Can someone help me?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Welcome to the board.
Try the EDATE function.

=EDATE(dateofbirth,12*18) = 18th birthday
=EDATE(dateofbirth,12*21) = 18th birthday + 3 years

I was grooving along all satisfied with myself when I encountered a problem - some of the therapists did not enter the child's date of birth. Good grief! So my handy dandy formula is returning #VALUE. I know there is a way to use an =IF function so that IF the birthdate field has Not Supplied in it, the discard date field will be blank. But I don't know how to do two functions in one formula without screwing it up. I know because I've tried. Can you help me one last time?
