Advanced Filter not updating automatically

I have set up an advanced filter but it won't update automatically, but then again maybe it's not supposed to!

I have a data entry worksheet to which random part numbers are added against known fault codes. All this is numeric. Fault codes are in column A, part numbers in column B.

I have set up separate worksheets for each fault code with formulas to equal the data entry worksheet (so A1 on the first fault worksheet =A1 on the data entry worksheet) so that each worksheet is the same as the data entry worksheet. I have then set up an Advanced Filter with the search criteria as the fault number in column A and Column B is the random part serial number. This works perfectly for the data that is already on the data entry worksheet, but if I add more rows to the data entry worksheet the fault code worksheet doesn't update unless I select 'Advanced Filter' and then close it again. I have tried Recalculate but it doesn't work.

1. Is it supposed to update?
2. If not, how can I make it do this automatically? This is to be used by people who have no Excel understanding (these people exist...)

Many thanks

HT
