Hi all

Close Excel

See my post #5

Follow the link. It will lead you to a page where you can download the missing files.

Click the link under the header RESOLUTION. This will download a zip file which contains two files.

On my system these would be exported to c:\Windows\System32.

Open Excel, press Alt+F11.
Click Insert => UserForm
Right click anywhere on the toolbox, select Additional Controls and see if the:
MicroSoft Date and Time Picker Control is available.

================

Consider this. If you want your project to be portable so others can use it do you want them to go through this rigmarole?

Can you post what you are trying to achieve? We may be able to offer you alternatives to the DateTimePicker.

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
I don't have "date picker" on my installation either. I read somewhere that you had to have Access installed. That seems odd to me. Does someone know what library this comes from?

Here is the link from post #5.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297381

From here you get the Library name (and the file name)
Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2 6.0 (MSCOMCT2.OCX)

From post #11
Extract the files to (on my pc):
C:\Windows\System32

Open Excel and test if you can access the control.

Thanks Bertie.

My concern is that I'm building an Excel Model for a very large client base and I don't think they will want to set anything up. But, I'm curious, so I'm going to download it and try it out.
