I can NOT create a chart for this data in Access but if I paste the same data in Excel it works. I am trying to create a chart between DATE and Margin fields. Here is the error I get in Access:
"You can't change the way you summarize a date or a key field. To summarize using Sum, Avg, Min, Max drag and drop numeric field into data area".
Sample data:
Date Sales GP$ Margin
6/14/2004 $1,463 $178 12.19%
6/15/2004 $1,507 $203 13.50%
6/16/2004 $1,585 $197 12.44%
6/17/2004 $1,689 $224 13.31%
6/18/2004 $1,916 $244 12.76%
What am I missing? Thank you very much!!
