recalculate

Is anyone aware of any tool that can measure (time) the calculation speed of a worksheet recalculate (F9). (I've seen such a tool used by Bill Jelen on some of the PodCasts.)

Is there a way to create a VBA function to only recalculate a certain number of rows? So start with row 1, and create a range.. or something like that, going down 500 rows and then calculate that num of rows (or new range)... and then repeat this going down through thousands of rows... but...
