pie chart

I have two sets of categories (i.e., product and items within that product type) and I want an overall pie chart of the product costs and then I want to click on any piece of the pie (i.e., any product type) and have a pie chart appear of the various items within that product type.

I have several files and each one contains data and a pie chart (I can email a file example). When a created piechart is 100% of a value, the data point line --the line that appears in chart to show 'slice' -- is invisible in the Excel file, but always appears in red when saved as a PDF file...
