Bug fixes:

Changes:

• The TABLE() function used to create Data Tables for What-if Analysis is listed as a special function in the formulas section.
• As an alternative method for copying to the clipboard, the generated mini-sheet code can now be copied manually. Select the "Manually copy the generated code" option to enable this feature.

New features:

• Lambda functions can now be included in the mini-sheets.
• The Wingdings font has been added.

New features:

• Multiple areas can be selected in the same worksheet to create separated mini-sheets. This is useful if you'd like to post separate ranges by excluding the unrelated rows and/or columns without having to hide them.

Changes:

• Additional info options and settings moved to the ribbon tab instead of displaying the add-in user form during the capture. This also solves the dual monitor issues discussed here.

• Fixed Excel 2007 incompatibility - Restored the XL2BB buttons disappeared in v1.2.8.

Bug fixes:

• Data validation in merged cells (#1)- There is no applicable fix since data validation should be applied to all cells in the merged area prior to range capturing but warning message displayed in such cases.
  • Excel doesn't apply the same data validation automatically to the merged cells when the merge applied after setting data validation for a cell in the merge range (And this is the correct behavior, not an Excel bug). Therefore data validation should be applied all cells in the merged area before running XL2BB. Click here for more info.
• Missing cell content in the generated XL2BB code (#2) - Fixed.
• Wrong values displayed in different regional format settings- Fixed.
  • XL2BB stores the actual data in English (US) regional settings in the background to provide better portability from the forum post and Excel - what we call as BB2XL. Although dates and numbers are shown in mini-sheets as they are displayed in Excel, BB2XL uses the English (US) regional settings for all posts.
• BB2XL copies missing cell content back to Excel - Fixed.
  • Some special characters used in cell content caused XL2BB to fail storing the underlying data for copying back to Excel.
