Find links

On my old computer under the Tools or Data drop downs I had a "links" choice. This would help locate where the links are in a spreadsheet. I can't remember what program I downloaded, or what I did to enable this function. I've searched the board and my posts, but haven't come up with anything. Do you rememeber where it came from?

TIA

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Don't know about that, but you have two choices for showing lnks.
1) Go into Tools/Options and select show Formulas
2) Do a ctrl+F and enter .xls as the search criteria

The second will find the links one at a time.

Perhaps you are thinking of the menu option Edit | Links... which pops up a dialog box that lists links. (Note that you can also have links in a workbook due to named ranges.)

no, it was something I downloaded that actually put a menu item Links or Find Links in my Tools menu. It was the very last choice under that pulldown menu.

That wouldn't have been something I did thru ASAP utilities would it???
