How to make my report completely fluid

I'm having a problem every time my P&L statement updates. This report pulls from 3 tabs (month to date, quarter to date, and year to date). The MTD tab pulls from an outside data source (Cognos) and QTD aggregates that data for every three months, and YTD aggregates for every 12. Everything pulls correctly except when I add line items to the original cognos source file. The main problem is the GP %ages. MTD is always correct but QTD and YTD get messed up because the GP %ages aren't supposed to aggregate, unlike all the other data on those tabs. So when line items are added to the source file, the formulas stay on that report line and start calculating the wrong data. Does anyone know how to make my report completely fluid so everything is accurate when the source file continuously changes? I would GREATLY appreciate anyone's help. I've tried everything I can.
