Embedding spreadsheets within Excel

I'm trying to embed an Excel spreadsheet within another spreadsheet. I don't want the dimension of the rows and columns to be the same as the baseline spreadsheet, so I figured I needed to do it this way. I created another Excel file with the table I wanted to embed. I click Insert-->Object-->Create from File and browse to find the file containing the spreadsheet I want to embed and check the Link to File box. I'm usually able to embed the spreadsheet like I want, but when I save and close out, I usually (but not always) get a 'Cannot start source application for this object' error message. Could someone help?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Try copying the worksheet as a picture to the target.
When the source changes the picture does too.

Hold down Shift key - Edit Copy Picture (& paste picture)
